'Off the Grid' Launches in Early Access on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC
The highly anticipated Blockchain-integrated Game “Off the Grid” has been released in early access, allowing players to explore its unique battle royale Experience. Developed by Gunzilla games, the game is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC using the Epic Games Store.
“Off the Grid” stands out from other battle royale games like Fortnite, Apex Legends, and PUBG due to its innovative features. Players can customize and change robotic limbs during the game to gain improved attributes and tactical edges. The game simulates a reality show where players must eliminate each other in big team battles.
One of the main advantages of the “Off the Grid” model is the integration of Blockchain Technology. Players have the ability to mint rare weapons and items as NFTs, increasing the value of in-game assets. These NFTs can also be bought and sold, creating an in-game Economy with the use of the GUN Token, which will be listed on Avalanche mainnet in the future.
Prominent Streamers Promote Game’s Launch
Despite the Crypto integration not being available for the game on consoles yet, “Off the Grid” has gained popularity among gamers. Well-known streamers such as Tyler “Ninja” Blevins, Seth “Scump” Abner, and Tim “TimTheTatman” Betar have helped promote the game's launch. Ninja even has a custom character skin within the game, adding to the excitement surrounding the release.
Gunzilla Games has assured players that “Off the Grid” offers 60 hours of gameplay with a strong narrative focus, blending battle royale with cinematic storytelling. This narrative element sets the game apart from others in the genre, making it a more engaging Experience for players.
In addition to the game release, Gunzilla Games has also unveiled the official soundtrack for “Off the Grid”. The developer managed to secure $30 million in funding for the game's Development and future expansions. Investors such as CoinFund, Avalanche’s Blizzard Fund, Republic Capital, and Morningstar Ventures participated in the funding round, which will also be used to enhance the Avalanche-based GUNZ platform.
