Immutable games Announces Guild of Guardians Expansion with Frostmire
Immutable Games has unveiled its plans to release the first expansion for the popular Mobile trading card role-playing game, Guild of Guardians. The new expansion, Frostmire, is set to launch on October 16, bringing in exciting new content including two legendary Guardians and a frosty new environment.
Exploring Frostmire
The Frostmire expansion will transport players to a new location filled with snowy mountains and frozen plains, adding a fresh element to the game's overall lore. Notably, this update will introduce two new legendary Guardians named Lisca and Dolvir.
- Lisca: A ranged hunter known for her humor and love for sweet treats, Lisca is adept at traversing the cold terrain of Frostmire with deadly ranged attacks.
- Dolvir: A warrior-style Guardian capable of disrupting enemy ranks and summoning pets for additional damage and support.
Players will have the opportunity to acquire these new Guardians through purchase or summoning via the Altar of Sacrifice upon the expansion's launch.
Gameplay and Features
Guild of Guardians is a mobile app available for both iOS and Android Platforms, where players, known as Commanders, lead their team of Guardians through various dungeons. By clearing different locales, Commanders can gain Experience and loot to level up their squad.
The game incorporates trading card elements with nft-based Guardians on Ethereum scaling network Immutable zkEVM. Drawing inspiration from auto-battlers like Riot's Teamfight Tactics, Guild of Guardians offers a unique battle style while staying true to its "roguelite" genre roots.
